Creator Program vs Refer a Friend in IGNITE AI: Which Link Should Influencers Use?

Creator Program vs Refer a Friend in IGNITE AI — different codes, terms, and rewards. Which link influencers should use, how annual Premium qualification works, and how to avoid mixed CTAs.

IGNITE AI runs two different sharing systems that people casually call “codes.” That casual language causes bad CTAs. Refer a Friend is for everyday users under the Referral Program Terms. Creator Program is for approved creators under the Creator Program Terms. Benefits, attribution, and rewards are separate unless the app expressly says otherwise.

If you make content for an audience, you almost certainly want Creator Program: personalized creator code, audience annual Premium pricing where offered, creator rewards on qualified annual Premium, complimentary Premium, Share Cards as content, and Creator Groups.

This article draws the line clearly so you stop pasting the wrong link in your bio.

Refer a Friend in one paragraph

Everyday users share a referral code with people they know. Qualified referrals — including purchase of an annual Premium plan under referral attribution, subject to the Referral Terms — can earn referral rewards as shown in-app. It is designed for peer sharing, not influencer distribution at scale.

Referral codes are not a substitute creator deal. They do not grant Creator Groups or creator complimentary Premium.

Creator Program in one paragraph

Approved creators apply in Profile → Creator Program with social details. They receive a creator code to distribute through ordinary creator channels. Followers who apply the code and purchase qualified annual Premium can generate creator rewards; creators may also receive complimentary Premium for a window shown in-app (commonly ~90 days, extendable).

Creator Groups and content-oriented Share Cards support audience building inside the product.

Codes and pricing are not interchangeable

A follower should not be told to “just use any code.” Attribution models differ, and only one creator attribution receives a creator reward for a given follower account under Creator rules. Mixing messages creates support headaches and lost trust.

If you are approved, lead with the creator code every time. Retire referral language from public CTAs.

Rewards: annual Premium is the serious signal

For creators, unqualified free downloads do not pay. Weekly or monthly plans do not qualify for creator rewards unless the app expressly states otherwise. Annual Premium success is the target — aligned with customers who intend to stick.

Say that out loud on camera. It filters tire-kickers and sets professional expectations.

Which should influencers use?

Influencers, coaches, and public creators: apply to Creator Program and use creator codes. Private individuals sharing with one friend: Refer a Friend is enough.

If you are mid-application, do not promote a referral code as a “creator offer.” Wait for approval and launch cleanly.

Bio and on-camera hygiene

Pick one sentence. “Creator code NAME for IGNITE AI annual Premium.” Link to store listings if needed. Do not list both programs “just in case.”

When someone asks in comments, paste the same sentence. Consistency protects attribution.

Policy and trust

Read both Program Terms if you participate in either. Do not misrepresent trial length, complimentary Premium, or reward amounts. Misrepresentation can end Program access.

Your audience does not need legal theater — they need you not to freestyle benefits that are not on the screen.

Bottom line

Creator Program and Refer a Friend solve different jobs. Influencers belong in Creator Program; friends-sharing belongs in Refer a Friend. Do not blend the CTAs.

Apply in-app, share your creator code, and build on qualified annual Premium — the clean story converts better than a confused one.
